In a renewed demonstration of her administration’s commitment to the health and well-being of residents, the Executive Chairman of Ojokoro Local Council Development Area, Hon. (Barr.) Oluyemisi Adenike Rosiji, has announced a Free Medical Outreach slated for Thursday, October 16, 2025.
The initiative, organized in collaboration with the Lions Club International Foundation (LCIF) and the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH), is aimed at providing quality eye care services to residents of the LCDA at absolutely no cost.
The outreach, which will hold at the Council Secretariat beginning at 10:00 a.m., will cover comprehensive eye screening, eye surgeries, eye glasses distribution, and consultations by qualified medical professionals.
According to Hon. Rosiji, the programme reflects her administration’s dedication to ensuring that every resident, regardless of social or economic status, has access to essential healthcare services. “Good vision is central to quality of life and productivity. This outreach is part of our continuous efforts to make healthcare accessible and affordable to our people. We are grateful to our partners for supporting this noble cause,” she said
