The Executive Chairman of Ojokoro Local Council Development Area, Hon. (Barr.) Oluyemisi Adenike Rosiji, has called on eligible residents of the LCDA who are yet to collect their Permanent Voter’s Cards (PVCs) to take advantage of the collection exercise scheduled to commence on October 9.

In a notice to residents, the Council Chairman encouraged all eligible persons to visit the designated collection centres within Ifako-Ijaiye and the listed Registration Area Centres to collect their PVCs.

Hon. Rosiji described the PVC as an important instrument of civic participation, urging residents to treat the collection exercise as a priority and to encourage eligible members of their families, friends, neighbours and communities to do the same.

According to her, participation in the democratic process begins with citizens taking the necessary steps to exercise their civic rights.

She urged residents to make their voices count by collecting their PVCs and participating responsibly in the electoral process.

The Council Chairman further encouraged residents to check the designated collection locations indicated in the official flyer and ensure that they complete the collection process as required.
