The Executive Chairman of Ojokoro Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Hon. (Barr.) Yemisi Rosiji, has assured residents of accelerated infrastructural development across all communities within the LCDA. Speaking during the monthly Community Development Committee (CDC) meeting at the CDC Secretariat, Hon. Rosiji who was the auditor of the CDC before her election as Chairman of the Council expressed gratitude for the overwhelming support during her election and called for continued cooperation with her administration to achieve its “THEME” agenda.

Hon. Rosiji emphasized her commitment to delivering sustainable infrastructure while urging residents to maintain environmental cleanliness to prevent disease outbreaks and ensure the longevity of public amenities. She also tasked the community to remain proactive in preserving public properties for communal benefit.

Presiding over the meeting, the CDC Vice Chairman, Alhaji Ismail Adeshina Adeyemi, reaffirmed the committee’s support for Hon. Rosiji’s administration. He requested prioritization of the Powerline-Temple Road leading to the CDC event center and called for measures to address youth restiveness and societal challenges, urging greater youth inclusion in her administration.

In the Council Chairman’s entourage to the meeting were top LCDA officials including the Vice Chairman, Hon. Tunde Oyekunle, Leader of the Legislative Council Hon. Ipaye Usman; the Deputy Leader Hon. Adeyemi Babasola; the Majority Leader Hon  Bosun Fasasi; the Deputy Majority Leader Hon. Keji Shokunbi; the Chief Whip, Hon. Jolaosho Segun; the Deputy Chief Whip, Hon. Taofeek Bolaji; Hon. Sanya Olusegun, member of the Legislative council; the Council Manager, Mrs Akinola Mojisola and other management staff of the LCDA.
