In a bid to foster peace and harmony within the community, the Executive Chairman of Ojokoro Local Council Development Area, Hon. (Barr.) Yemisi Rosiji  conducted an inspection of ongoing drainage projects across key streets in the council area on Monday, August 18th, 2025. The inspection tour covered Adamson Street, which leads to Manacola Estate in Ward G, as well as Akinyele Street, Sunday Aina Street, Onabanjo Close, and Peter Oyedepo Street.

During the inspection, Hon. Rosiji held a peace meeting at the Baale Akinyele Palace between Akinyele & Environs Community Development Associations (CDA) and Manacola CDA. The meeting focused on resolving disputes caused by flooding and the ongoing drainage works. Hon. Rosiji emphasized the importance of peaceful coexistence and pledged to explore professional solutions to mitigate the challenges faced by residents.

Accompanying the Executive Chairman were Vice Chairman Hon. Tunde Oyekunle, councilors, Council Manager Mrs. Mojisola Akinola, Council Treasurer Mrs. Nimotallahi Oki, Council Engineer Mr. Ope, Baale of Akinyele Orile Idi-Ogun, High Chief Emmanuel Akinyele, and other key stakeholders.
