The Executive Chairman of Ojokoro Local Council Development Area, Hon. (Barr.) Yemisi Rosiji Adenike Rosiji, has reaffirmed her administration’s commitment to empowering residents through education and vocational training.

During a visit to the Education Vocational Training Center at the Council Secretariat on August 18, 2025, Hon. Rosiji promised full support for the program, encouraging students to leverage the training to enhance their skills and living standards.

Hon. Rosiji commended the students for taking proactive steps to acquire vocational skills, emphasizing that these skills are highly valued in today’s world. She highlighted that possessing such skills would enable them to become employers of labour rather than job seekers, thereby contributing to the socio-economic development of their communities.

Accompanying the Executive Chairman on the visit were top LCDA officials, including Vice Chairman Hon. Tunde Oyekunle, Council Manager Mrs. Mojisola Akinola, Council Treasurer Mrs. Nimotalahi Ronke Oki, Deputy Leader Hon. Adeyemi, and other councilors.
