As part of her commitment to infrastructure development and environmental improvement, the Executive Chairman of Ojokoro LCDA, Hon. (Barr.) Oluyemisi Adenike Rosiji, on Wednesday, August 2025, embarked on a project inspection tour across key streets drainage and interlocking works.
The inspection covered Anifowoshe Street in Ward C, and both Asuku Street and Joshua Akintande Street in Ward E. The Chairman was accompanied by the Vice Chairman, Hon. Tunde Oyekunle, all Councillors of Ojokoro LCDA, Council Manager Mrs. Mojosola Akinola, Council Engineer Mr. Ope, and Head of Public Affairs Mr. Odegbami Olawunmi.
During the exercise, Hon. Rosiji carefully assessed the quality of the works and gave on-the-spot directives to ensure long-term sustainability of the projects.
She also sensitized market women selling beside the drainages, especially in Asuku, to relocate from the areas to promote a healthier, obstruction-free environment.
Hon. Rosiji reaffirmed her administration’s resolve to deliver projects that truly reflect the needs of the people, promising continued investment in critical infrastructure across all wards of Ojokoro LCDA.
