WIVES OF LAGOS STATE LOCAL GOVERNMENT CHAIRMEN HOLD INAUGRAL EMPOWERMENT FOR YOUTHS & VULNERABLES

All 57 LGs / LCDAs Executive Chairmen's  Wives Association ( LASCCIVA) in Lagos state meeting hold at Ifako Ijaye LG Secretariat on Thursday 8th, August 2024.

The meeting and poverty Alleviation programme which was sponsored by Ifako/Ijaiye Local Govt and Ojokoro LCDA, 

is an avenue to empower the youth and gives assistance to the vulnerable indigenes in the communities in order to eradicate poverty in the society. 

The Executive chairman of Ifako Ijaye Local government  Hon. Usman Akanbi Hamzat in his opening remark comprehensively shower accolades to  their wives for their patience and  great initiatives, also commends their unflinching supports to their husbands--an action which has been great impetus to the sterling performances of Executive Chairmen in fulfilment of the people's mandates.

He further encourages their wives to continue the good act and guide their spouses to right paths towards  accomplishing greater heights in their political careers and beyond

In order to motivate them to accomplish their goals especially in the area of empowerment for the youths & vulnerables. 

Earlier, fascinated by this noble initiatives,Hon. Usman  on behalf of himself and his brother Hon. Hammed Idowu Tijani (HID) the Executive Chairman of Ojokoro LCDA , had donated the sum of one million naira (1m) to support them for an enlarged empowerment programme for beneficiaries. 

The President of the LG/LCDA Association, Mrs Abimbola who is the chairperson of Odi-olowo/Ojuwoye LCDA on behalf of herself and co Chairpersons in her closing remark appreciates Hon Usman and HID for believing in them and making the meeting & empowerment a memorable & worthwhile. 

Different Equipment used  for Skills acquisition were presented to the beneficiaries.
