Continue to Maintain Peace in Your Jurisdiction, Ojokoro Council Boss Charges Alakuko DPO
The Executive Chairman of Ojokoro Local Council Development Area, Hon. Hammed Idowu D. Tijani (HID), has urged the newly deployed Divisional Police Officer (DPO) for Alakuko Police Station, CSP Ighodaro O. Malvin, to focus on ensuring the safety and security of the residents and properties within Alakuko and its surrounding areas. The council boss emphasized the importance of securing the boundaries of the LCDA, which he identified as critical zones due to their proximity to neighboring localities.
Speaking during a courtesy visit by the DPO to the council, Hon. Tijani expressed his optimism that the collaboration between the police and the council would further strengthen the efforts to maintain law and order in Ojokoro LCDA. He reminded CSP Malvin of the growing concerns over safety in some areas, particularly with regards to border security, and the need for proactive policing strategies to address these challenges effectively.
The council chairman also highlighted the strategic importance of partnership between law enforcement agencies and local authorities in fostering a peaceful and harmonious community. He assured CSP Malvin of the council’s unwavering support and cooperation in carrying out his duties, stressing that working together would be key to achieving the shared goal of a safer and more secure environment for all residents.
