The Ojokoro Local Council Development Area (LCDA) has a new sheriff in town. Barr. Oluwayemisi Adenike #Rosiji a seasoned administrator and community grassroots leader, was sworn in as the 6th elected Chairman and first female Chairman of Ojokoro LCDA on Sunday, July 27, at the State House, Alausa.
The swearing-in ceremony marked a new chapter in the history of Ojokoro LCDA, and Barr. Rosiji wasted no time in reiterating her THEMES agenda, strategically aligned with the Lagos State Government’s developmental agenda. She assured residents of an era of transformation, promising that every decision she makes will be guided by their welfare.
“Every project we undertake will be designed to improve your quality of life, and every program we implement will be measured by how it serves the common good,” Barr. Rosiji declared at a reception held in her honor on Sunday.
True to her words, the Executive Chairman hit the ground running, resuming work on Monday and commencing necessary renovations within the council premises. This move is evidence of her commitment to getting to work and making a positive impact on the lives of Ojokoro residents.
As the first female Chairman of Ojokoro LCDA, Barr. Rosiji’s inauguration marks a significant landmark in the history of the council. Her dedication to public service and community development is expected to bring a new level of energy and enthusiasm to the council’s operations.
The people of Ojokoro LCDA are eagerly anticipating the transformation promised by Barr. Rosiji, and it remains to be seen how her administration will impact the lives of residents in the coming months. One thing is certain, however: a new sheriff is indeed in town, and change is in the air.
